glasgow's 50 shades of gray

Scotland looks good in gray.  Outsiders think it's atmospheric, especially in the highlands.  Insiders have various words for rain:

A wee spit
Spittin
Peltin
Bucketin
Stokin
A fine rain
Dreich
Spurtin
